Antistatic bins and cases can be fitted with an interior that is also antistatic, protecting against shock and impact during packaging and transport. The plastic tray ensures stackability and manageability, the interior positions and protects the parts to be transported.
Engels can draw on years of experience on ESD safe issues dating from OCÉ printers in the 1980s to cleanroom product carriers for electronics manufacturers such as ASML and C-MAC.
We supply vacuum-formed product carriers and trays made of ESD-safe material tailored to our customers' automated production lines. These ESD trays and product carriers often also serve immediately as transport packaging between departments or to customers.

PCB carriers
For handling PCBs (printed circuit boards), we supply PCB racks with dimensions to match the inside dimensions of our bins. They consist of electro conductive grid plates with slots 2 or 3 mm deep on one or both sides, screwed between 2 slot profiles. From some quantities onwards, rack bins are also available in custom sizes, e.g. for 590 mm SMD rails.
ESD foam
Electrically conductive foam sheets are impregnated after being cut to size. Unlike pink antistatic foam, our conductive foam sheets never lose their conductivity. They are resilient and can be used for buffer on the bottom of bins and/or glued into lids.
